Information are seeding these days about who's going to win the distribution contract here in Europe.

Many sources reveal that iPhone will be made available in France, UK and Germany this autumn. Others countries to wait further more.

  • In France, Orange is said to have won the distribution, with no surprise actually.
  • In UK, O2 is said to have won. Vodafone made his best to get the contract but, finally, thought that it won't be financially viable and gave up eventually!
  • In Germany, nothing is closed at the moment.

Worth to note is that iPhone is likely rocking the mobile industry, providing a feature-rich still easy to use product to the market. iPhone potential users have greater revenues than the average industry users therefore increasing carrier's ARPU.

LAst note : As expected, iPhone success have caused general stock shortage in the US. Apple should announce to have sold 1 million units already!
