ZiPhone: jailbreak and unlock for free all iPhone OTB versions
Feb. 12th, 2008 23:33 by sdeluca — Permalink | TrackBack: http://en.boursomac.com/trackback/809 | For OS-X (and PC, though I only describe the OS-X process): According to the author of ZiPhone: Well, you can also use a restored phone... Or a normal in use phone... Well... whatever ! Unlock and Imei changer will work ONLY on 4.6 BL (112 and 113 ootb). So act at your own risk. For me it has worked with no problem at all: this has been tested on an Intel Macbook running Leopard 10.5.2, iTunes 7.6, on a 1.1.2 OTB iPhone -- already upgraded to 1.1.3 -- with 04.02.13_G modem. One thing though: youtube is not functioning. The rest of the functionalities work with no issue. My process is as follows:
Wait about 2 minutes and 30 seconds and the iphone will reboot... That's it, you're all done, activated, jail broken and sim unlocked. The miracle about that this -- in addition of being an extremely simple and reliable one-step process -- is that you don't require any StealthSIM or Turbo SIM anymore :) CommentsBe the first to leave a comment. |
